Sunday Sessions are Back
Held on the first Sunday of each month, Sunday Sessions will bring together Dawning Day’s cool-climate wines, vineyard views and a changing line-up of local food pop-ups, giving visitors something different to eat each month.
The first session will kick things off with pizza by Black Hen Kitchen’s, while the following months are set to showcase a rotating selection of food styles, with Asian street food, Greek-inspired fare and more.
The idea is simple: good food, good wine and a reason to slow down and spend a Sunday in the Highlands.

Whether you’re planning a weekend in the Southern Highlands, looking for somewhere to spend a Sunday afternoon or simply need an excuse to get out of Sydney, consider this your invitation.
So, how does it work?
To make sure we can accommodate everyone, Sunday Sessions will be a pre-booked experience.
Simply book your spot online and pay a booking fee per person to secure your table. The good news? Your booking fee is 100% redeemable on food and wine on the day.
As a small family business, it’s pretty tough having to turn people away when we’ve held tables for guests who don't end up coming. We want to make sure we can welcome as many of you as possible, while giving our food pop-ups and team a better idea of numbers. So, if you book a spot, we’ll have a table waiting for you and your booking fee goes straight back into food and wine on the day.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate walk-ins too, subject to availability on the day.
We’ve always believed wine is best enjoyed without too much fuss. So Sunday Sessions aren’t about dressing up or sticking to a schedule. They’re about bringing your mates, grabbing a table, ordering something delicious and settling in for the afternoon. Some Sundays might involve pizza. Others might involve Asian street food, Greek street food or something completely different.
The one constant? There’ll be wine.
