Cellar Door
Experience a taste of the Southern Highlands at our cellar door with a selection of Dawning Day wines, spirits and local produce board. Enjoy a premium wine tasting, or just have a glass of wine and produce board and relax by the fire on cooler days, or under the pergola in Summer.
Pets are welcome on leash. Bookings essential to ensure a seat as we are a small, intimate venue.
Boutique Accommodation
Unwind and stay on the vineyard in our boutique, architecturally designed barn accommodation attached to our winery and cellar door, but completely private.
Immerse yourself in farm life during your stay, feed the sheep and alpacas, or take a stroll through the vineyard at sunset, glass of wine in hand.
Our Wines
Our family-owned Exeter winery specialises in premium cool-climate wines crafted using sustainable and regenerative farming practices. Growing three varieties on the Estate; Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gamay (commonly referred to as Beaujolais), each is shaped by the unique soils and elevated climate of the region.
The broader Dawning Day portfolio extends to more than 20 wines, incorporating over 15 varieties sourced from select vineyards across New South Wales, always with an emphasis on regional integrity, thoughtful craftsmanship and supporting the local community.
We give a considerable % of all revenues generated by sales of Dawning Day wine to help those that are in need. We support charities like Refugee Connect, PopIn, Challenge Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven Homeless Hub, Weave, Highland Grace Food Coop, and several other community organisations.
2021Estate Vintage Sparkling
Hand picked Estate grown fruit. Traditional Method sparkling.
2023Estate Pinot Noir
Only two barrels produced. Forest berries and a subtle earthiness, reflecting the Estate’s terroir.
